EST signs agreement with the Asociación Ibérica de Estudios de Traducción e Interpretación (AIETI)
The protocol of understanding recognizes the common aims and interests of the two organizations.
AIETI encourages, supports, and furthers the study of translation and interpreting studies by disseminating knowledge and research relevant to all areas of language mediation, specifically translation and interpreting.
The agreement was signed by Ricardo Muñoz, President of AIETI, and Anthony Pym, President of the EST, on February 28, 2011. It opens the way for exchanges of information and reciprocal attendance at conferences.
