Translation Studies books go to Argentina
The European Society for Translation Studies has awarded its 2015 Book Purchase Grant to the Centro de Estudios en Traducción (CET), Facultad de Lenguas, Universidad Nacional del Comahue (UNCo), Argentina.
The chair of the Book Purchase Grant Committee, Agnes Somlo, reports that a total of seven very strong applications were received.
Centro de Estudios de Traducción of the Facultad de Lenguas at UNCo was founded in 2012 with the aim to establish and strengthen the position of Translation Studies as a discipline in Argentina. CET, represented by María Claudia Geraldine Chaia, was awarded 1000 euros for the purchase of books in the field of Translation and Interpreting Studies.
The chair of the Book Purchase Grant Committee, Ágnes Somló, reports that a total of seven very strong applications were received.
Under the terms of this award, all book purchases made from John Benjamins benefit from a discount of 40%.
