The research team at the Chair of English Communication and Translation, Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences, Armenia is the winner of the Book Purchase Grant 2019.
Yerevan Brusov State University of Languages and Social Sciences, founded in 1935, is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Armenia. The Chair of English Communication and Translation offers B.A and M.A. programs in Translation Studies and mainly focuses on the development of translation and communication skills among students, majoring in English.

“We are humbled and honored to be the winners of the grant, as its impact on the research and studies conducted at our department will be tremendous. The grant will allow the chair to purchase many of the seminal pieces of Translation Studies literature that are indispensable for Translation research and teaching. The literature will be made available for use by both the professorial staff of the chair and the university for the purposes of personal research and course design and implementation, and by the students of the translation department upon the redirection of their professors.”
