Iris Schrijver wins the Young Scholar Prize
The Young Scholar Prize Committee received 42 submissions before the deadline on 31 January 2016, and went to work on assessing them immediately after. After a long selection process, which involved many assessments generously provided by external experts, the members of the Committee agreed that the prize should be awarded to Dr. Iris Schrijver, now junior lecturer at the University of Antwerp, for her thesis entitled The translator as text producer: the effects of writing training on transediting and translation performance.
