The EST may endorse events organized by a non-profit making, research-oriented, recognised national university or other tertiary-level authority or equivalent body on condition that:
- at least one member of the organisational committee is a paid-up member of the EST, and
- an EST Board representative is a member of the scientific (or organising) committee for the event, and
- EST members are offered a reduction if there is a fee, and
- the EST logo and a QR code to the EST website are included in any printed promotional materials. In addition, the EST logo, linked to the EST website, is included on the event website.
