Nina Reviers wins the 2019 Young Scholar Prize
For this edition of the Young Scholar Prize, the Committee received 28 applications from EST members in Europe as well as one from each of Australia, Brazil, Canada, Egypt, and Hong-Kong before the deadline in 2019. After a selection that resulted in a shortlist of six candidates, the members of the Committee agreed that Dr. Nina Reviers deserved the prize for her doctoral work entitled Audio Description in Dutch. A corpus-based study into the linguistic features of a new, multimodal text type.
